UNIpace - Polymer Application Center

The Application Center for Plastics Processing UNIpace at the University of Kassel was founded in 2013 as a result of industrial cooperation with B. Braun Melsungen AG.

It has since established itself in the field of research and development of processing and material technologies in the area of silicone rubber processing in medical technology, the electrical industry, the mobility sector, and many more.

Interdisciplinary Partner

UNIpace builds the bridge between university and industry with the goal of industry-related research from materials science to the processing technology of plastics.

Education

In addition to lectures UNIpace offers students internships and theses.

Research

By dissertations and publications UNIpace actively contributes to knowledge generation.

Industry

UNIpace supports industrial partners through workshops, industrial projects and services.
